Yushan Hu Promoted to Research Specialist

We are pleased to announce that Yushan Hu has been promoted to Research Specialist. This promotion is in recognition of the valuable contributions Yushan has made to the Dow Fiber Solutions business .

Since joining Dow in 2005, Yushan has made significant contributions in resolving deposit issue for fiber systems, enabling commercially viable unwinding solutions, reducing cotton fabric puckering defects, and understanding and improving key fiber properties.  Through these value creating projects, Yushan has demonstrated solid technical competency in material science, excellent flexibility to stretch beyond his comfort zone and effective teamwork performance. 

Yushan has authored 3 patents and over 20 peer reviewed papers.  Yushan holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Science from Case Western Reserve University.
